FAQ
Mobile Welding FAQ
How requesting a mobile welder through Tulsa Mobile Welding works.
Q01What is mobile welding?
Mobile welding means the welder comes to you with a truck-mounted welder, generator and tools, and makes the repair where the item is: your driveway, yard, farm, business or jobsite. It saves hauling a broken trailer, gate or machine to a shop.
Q02How does the referral work?
Call (918) 921-8983 or send the request form. We pass your request to an independent local mobile welder who serves your area. The welder contacts you, quotes the job and schedules it directly with you.
Q03What areas do you take requests from?
Tulsa County and nearby parts of Wagoner, Rogers, Creek and Osage counties in Oklahoma, including Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Owasso, Jenks, Bixby, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, Glenpool and Catoosa, plus nearby towns such as Claremore, Coweta, Collinsville and Skiatook. Coverage and timing depend on which welders are available near you.
Q04Are you a welding company?
No. Tulsa Mobile Welding is a referral service. We pass your request to an independent local mobile welder, who contacts you, quotes the job and does the work.
Q05How much does mobile welding cost?
Pricing is set by each welder and depends on the job, materials, travel and timing. Ask the welder for a quote before work starts.
Q06Does it cost anything to request a welder?
No. Submitting a request is free and there's no obligation to hire anyone.
Q07Can a welder come today?
Mark your request as an emergency and we'll try to reach an available welder quickly. Same-day and after-hours availability isn't guaranteed.
Q08What should I include in my request?
What broke or needs to be built, the metal if you know it, where the item is (driveway, farm, jobsite), and photos if you can text them to the welder.
Q09Who is responsible for the work?
The welder you hire. Ask about insurance, warranty and any permits for structural work before you agree to a job.
Q10What do you do with my information?
We share your request with a local welder so they can contact you about this job. See our privacy notice.
Q11Do I need to provide power or an outlet?
Usually not. Mobile welders normally bring their own engine-driven welder or generator. You provide access for the truck and a clear, safe area around the repair.
Q12What kinds of metal can be welded on site?
Steel and wrought iron are the most common. Aluminum and cast iron need different equipment or extra care, so say what the part is made of when you reach out.
